The new reformatted SAT test is here for 2016, and so are our prep courses. The first new test will be held on March 5th, and there are lots of changes being made. Ahead of the Curve Tutoring has Prep Courses for the new SAT to prepare students for the exam. We have been getting ready for this switch and adjusting teaching methods to fit the test.
There have been some drastic changes to the format and scoring of the New SAT Test. For starters, there is no longer a penalty for guessing. In the past we encourage students only to guess when they can eliminate 2 or more answers, but now that is not the case. Another big change comes with the essay, which is now an optional part of the exam. There are also new types of questions in the Reading Comprehension section. These are just a few of the changes being made. Ahead of the Curve Tutors know all of the new tips and tricks to help students do their very best.
