Private Online Tutoring

Ahead of the Curve Tutoring is here to help students and parents navigate through the new online school platforms by offering distance learning support during the Covid-19 Pandemic. School looks a lot different this year, and more than ever students will need extra support. This year students will find themselves with less time with their teachers online.  School days have less hours and are filled with more independent study time. Students will be responsible for learning more material on their own, and this can be a challenge for many.

San Diego Unified School District plans to structure 180 minutes or 3 hours of direct teaching each day. This is only half of a regular in person school day. Students will have half of the amount of instruction, but 100% of the same material to cover. For more detailed information on San Diego Unified School District’s distancing learning plan, check out their Back to School Guide.

This can be a stressful time for students and parents as well. By having distance learning support from one of our experienced tutors,  students will have the one-on-one time to ask questions and review concepts that were missed during the zoom meetings.

Many students find it difficult to pay attention during a zoom class. It is nearly impossible for teachers to keep track of each student while on a zoom call. With one-on-one tutoring, the tutor can make sure each student is focused and getting the information he or she needs. Distance learning support will insure your child gets the education they deserve.
